Hit and run friends
Something that just drives me crazy is a hit and run friend.That is somebody that was a good friend and just stopped calling and coming by for no reason.Doesn't talk to you for two or three years and then emails you on how sympthic they are to your situation or how they support you.
Bullshit!!!The true friend is the one that never turned thier backs on you,the ones that were there with you in the dark times.The ones that took you in when you had no place to go,The ones that would give the very clothes off of thier back to keep you warm.That is a FRIEND!!!
It doesn't matter where you are in the world a true friend is still at your side and has your back.
At least here I can face my attackers.

Well...excuse me for being supportive to a guy who risks his life at war, even though we don't see eye to eye anymore, for personal reasons. Don't worry though...it won't happen again.
Well bro, you know you always have friends till the end, and they will always be there for you. I need to find jokes to e-mail you. But you keep sending me all the good stuff before I can find it. I wish I found them first so I could forward them to you, but hey I don't have as many friends as you who are as well travelled and connected. Anyway, if you need anything, just ley me know.

Angel69: You're right; I do have alot to learn about life, I am not one to think that I know it all, like some people I know. And btw...there has been times where I needed someone to have my back and that person wasn't there. And no, I'm not just talking about Shark. I sent my support to one of our troops. He said he appreciated that. If you didn't, well...then maybe I'm not the only one who needs to learn a thing or two. And maybe, and this is some free advice for you, you would keep more people if you didn't have that out-look on things.
Never claimed to know you anymore...not like you, who claims to know what I'm all about, I never have a high horse attitude, I'm not better than anyone else...and what I said, was taken wrong, yes, but I explained what I meant to Joe, ask him.
I never was against that...like anyone else, I shall defend myself from an attack. What you just posted is more like it, the adult way to talk that you have been talking about. Fine. Tension dropped. The same I have given to Shark, Heather and I extend to you and the boys: despite differences, we both wish you and your family God's blessings and well wishes. Your husband is brave doing what he does, and I thank him for that and appreciate it.
I don't know. At this point, it's all still in the "things settled, but still trust issues" stage. I can't ever tell what the future will hold, so I won't give you a flat-out no, but by the same rights I can't tell you how I'll feel on the issue until it happens.

I emailed Shark the explanation of it, as well as emailed him why all this started in the first place. He can fill you in on everything more effectively than I can in this comment section.
