...social structure...

Why is it that social structures are so complicated? I mean, do we REALLY need it to be so hard? I understand that when you collect a group of diverse and different people in one place, disputes and disagreements are an inevitability. However, it seems impossible to me that so many disagreements can take place with such frequency. Of course, from my perspective, I refer to the ongoing BugJuice drama, but other groups have this same tension boiling and simmering under the surface. It actually leads me to believe that society is uber-flawed in itself sometimes; because really, the only thing separating us from having nation-wide drama-rama of the type we've seen, is the laws and necessity of life. Perhaps that's what's going on here...we see it as not a necessity of life that we're here. I think alot of group politics and drama would cease if it's viewed as a necessary coallition rather than just a 'group' that one 'hangs with.'

That was a completely flowed thought process there. Let me know what you think.

(Bet you thought it was going to be another news article or political banter, didn't you? LOL!!)

...

Ahem.

Vote Kerry! :D (Sorry, couldn't help it...) *thwip*

In my limited experience, every time a large group of people get together, someone's personality will clash with someone else's. People just seem to love drama...it makes life interesting.

The conflict arises when one tries to press an ideal on another, and meets resistence.

It's not always that simple, Shark...but that IS just ONE of the many reasons.
